Introduction Overview

Engineered for Heavy Radial Loads

As a specialized bearing manufacturer, Tedin produces precision cylindrical roller bearings designed to manage heavy radial loads under high-speed operations. Because the cylindrical rollers are in linear contact with the raceways, they offer greater radial load capacity compared to standard ball bearings while maintaining low friction. Whether you need standard single row designs or heavy-duty multi-row configurations, our products ensure stable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Single row cylindrical roller bearing NU, NUP and NJ design

Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Designed to accommodate high radial loads and high speeds. Our single row cylindrical roller bearings feature an optimized internal geometry that minimizes friction and heat generation, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.

Double Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Engineered for exceptional radial stiffness and high-precision operations. Double row cylindrical roller bearings provide maximum rigidity, making them the ideal choice for applications where radial space is limited but high load capacity is required.

Multi-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Designed for the most demanding heavy-industry applications, multi-row (typically four-row) cylindrical roller bearings provide the absolute maximum radial load-carrying capacity. Featuring exceptional rigidity and low friction, they are engineered specifically to withstand severe operating conditions in steel, aluminum, and other metal rolling mills.

Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Incorporating the maximum number of rollers without a cage, full complement bearings offer the highest possible radial load-carrying capacity. They are specifically designed to withstand extremely heavy loads at low to moderate speeds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical insights and purchasing details for our high-precision cylindrical roller bearings.

The main difference lies in the ring ribs (flanges) and their ability to handle axial loads. NU Series has two ribs on the outer ring and no ribs on the inner ring, accommodating pure radial loads and allowing for axial displacement. NJ Series has one rib on the inner ring, taking light axial loads in one direction. NUP Series has a fixed rib and a loose rib ring on the inner ring, locating the shaft axially in both directions.
Primarily, they are designed for extremely high radial loads. However, series with ribs on both the inner and outer rings (like NJ, NUP, and N series) can support light to moderate axial loads. For heavy axial loads, we recommend pairing them with thrust bearings.
CN (Normal) is for standard operating conditions. We highly recommend C3 or C4 clearance for applications involving high speeds, extreme temperatures, or tight interference fits (like industrial gearboxes and steel mills), as the extra clearance compensates for thermal expansion.
Yes! Our engineering team specializes in custom solutions. We can customize dimensions, precision classes (up to P4/SP), special coatings, and cage materials (Brass, Steel, or Polyamide) to meet the exact requirements of your aerospace, metallurgy, or pump applications.
For standard series (like common NU/NJ sizes), we maintain a robust inventory with a lead time of 1-2 weeks. For custom or large-size bearings (like multi-row mill bearings), the lead time is typically 4-8 weeks. Our MOQ is flexible depending on the bearing size—please contact our sales team for a specific quote.
