Double row cylindrical roller bearings provide higher radial load capacity and higher rigidity than single row designs. They are commonly used in machine tool spindles, rolling mill stands, gearboxes and other shaft positions where compact structure and stable radial support are required.
NN and NNU designs differ mainly in rib arrangement and ring configuration. The selection depends on mounting position, shaft support method, rigidity requirement and whether the bearing needs to allow axial displacement.
